AskAI is a Chrome browser extension that provides AI-powered text analysis and transformation features. The Service uses third-party AI APIs (including OpenAI) to process text selected by users.

3. User Responsibilities

By using AskAI, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not use the Service to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the extension
• Not use the Service to violate any third-party rights
• Keep your API keys and account credentials secure

4. Free and Pro Tiers

Free Tier: Users receive 5 AI-powered actions per day at no cost. Free tier access may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

Pro Tier: Pro subscriptions provide unlimited access to all features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of your billing period.

5. Payment and Refunds

Pro subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase for unused subscriptions.

6. API Key Usage

If you choose to use your own OpenAI API key, you are responsible for:

• Complying with OpenAI's terms of service
• Any costs incurred from API usage
• Keeping your API key secure and confidential

7. Intellectual Property

The AskAI extension, including its design, code, and features, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the extension for personal purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• AI-generated responses will be accurate or appropriate for any purpose
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
